Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Parlare ("the Service"), provided by Parlare Inc., a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act ("Parlare", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Parlare is an AI-powered conversation-practice platform designed to help leaders and coaches develop their communication skills through simulation, scoring, and feedback. The Service is provided for personal learning and professional development purposes only.

Important: Parlare is not a substitute for professional coaching supervision, HR advice, legal counsel, or mental health support. Do not use it to make decisions about other people's employment, performance, or wellbeing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Parlare. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for individual professional use, not for minors.

You must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at bobhalkidis@parlare.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. AI Limitations and Disclaimer

Parlare uses artificial intelligence to generate coaching simulations, scores, and feedback. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. They should be treated as one perspective to inform your learning — not as a definitive assessment of your coaching ability or as advice about specific situations.

We do not warrant that the AI feedback is accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your circumstances.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described there.

When you upload a transcript, you represent that you have the right to do so and that its contents do not violate the privacy or rights of third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

The Parlare brand, interface, framework content, and underlying technology are owned by Parlare and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload. By uploading content, you grant Parlare a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parlare will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or harm arising from reliance on AI-generated feedback.

Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at bobhalkidis@parlare.app.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Parlare Inc. is incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act and maintains its registered office at 6 Byblos Court, East Gwillimbury, ON L9N 0T3, Canada.
